I was going to suggest Benadryl - but wasn't certain this was a good idea since it may counter act the IVIG and the reasons you are getting it - so I looked on the web and found the following:

What are the side effects of IVIG?
IVIG therapy is considered to be quite safe. Adverse reactions, or side effects are mild when they occur and usually happen in less than 5% of people that receive IVIG. Side effects that you may experience could include flu-like symptoms such as headache, chills, upset stomach, muscle pains, tiredness, back pain, rash or increased blood pressure. Sometimes these side effects begin to happen in the first 30 minutes of the IVIG infusion, and may last for up to 24 hours. These side effects may be reduced by slowing down the infusion, drinking plenty of water or juice before the infusion, or using medicines (such as acetaminophen and diphenhydramine) to prevent these symptoms from even developing. Your infusion team under the direction of your doctor will discuss these options with you, and give you the best advice about how to avoid side effects.

Another site said that the side effects tend to go away with future treatments - this on a site about miscarriage prevention - so I hope that this will reassure you that the benefits of getting this treatment are more than the side effects.

Best wishes!
