If this just happened, check your remote control & make sure it is selecting the TV (not a VCR or other). Press the volume button ON the TV since that overrides the remote.

If you can't fix it this way, then you don't know enough to open the set & look for loose wires going to the speaker.

If there are output jacks to a stereo, plug one in - if that works, then the inside speaker is bad, but remember - Touching the wrong thing inside can KILL.

You might check the audio adjust found in the menu area. Sometimes you can turn the internal speakers on or off (in this case they might have accidentally been tuned off). Or sometimes there will be a switch on the back of the unit. If all else fails, it could be a malfunction with the sound board. Hope this helps.

is it on mute? check if you have a headphone jack plugged in. check volume.
