Hawaii, the weather is always perfect, it is beautiful, there is plenty to do or you can relax and do nothing at all. It is very tourist friendly and pretty affordable once you get there. My favorite island is Kauai, the garden island. Second favorite is Maui, third is Oahu and 4th is Big Island of Hawaii. They all have lots to see and do. The turtle Bay Hilton on the northshore of Oahu has nice wedding packages and pretty reasonable prices. Kauai has Hanalei spoken of in the song "Puff the Magic Dragon" a very green lushly vegetated area, more rural. The Wailea area of Maui has a row of the most elegant hotels, The Ritz, The Grand Wailea, The Four seasons and a bunch more that I cannot recall. If you are on a budget you can stay at a condo in Kehei, north of there and then go down to the beach in front of those hotels, because the beaches are all public. To save money you can shop in the local grocery store, sign up for a Safeway discount card and get 10% savings on your groceries. We have done Hawaii on a budget and Hawaii in style. It is great either way. We took the kids many times. The first time we went there in about 1993 with the kids, we rented a 1 bedroom condo acrosss the street from the beach for only $60 per night. We rented a ocean front house one summer with us and 5 kids for $1500 per week on Aliomanu Bay in Kauai. We rented through Hanalei Northshore properties. They have a good web site you can go to and see all of their available listings. There are lots of choices. Best of luck to you!

I love love love Mirabell Castle in Salzburg, Austria.
The city office is right in it, so you can get married in a castle w/o paying an arm and a leg . It won't be too expensive for the guests to get there- you can find very cheap flights from the UK to Salzburg, and they can also take a train once they are on the mainland.
If you want to go all out, there's an amazing garden which is a popular spot to get married- a tad expensive though.
If you want something more casual and a warmer place, try Greece.
If you're going trans-Atlantic, try Las Vegas if you're into the wild child thing, Hawaii if you want to have a honeymoon right after, or Dominican Republic (amazing scenery, not too expensive, but it might be expensive for the guests to get there).

I have always thought that getting married in Australia would be gorgeous. Right off of the Great Barrier Reef . It not only has the most beautiful scenery in the world, there are plenty of things to do on the honeymoon. Great for one who loves the outdoors.
Another place would be Alaska. It is very nice there during the summer and not very expensive to be. The mountains and forests and wildlife would make it a relaxing place to be wed.
Greenland, Thailand, or the United States are also good spots to go. If you want to stay closer to home (well kind of), try Italy and stay in one of those cozy little cottages up there. Try the wine and bicycle through the quiet little towns.

Had we had a destination wedding, it would have been in New Zealand or Honduras. It would be on the beach outdoors.
Also, I think that it would be pretty neat to get married in Peru.
Of course, those are just places I love to visit so...
