Yes, He said that. It roughs up a lot of egos, then again, He was real good at that. The soil of the heart was described in one of His parables. You speak the truth. I would hope that my heart is good soil, receiving the word and it growing in me, bringing forth the fruit of His Spirit and Kingdom.

This is a road block to filter out all the unwanted and disbelievers. Jesus is the road block and immigration check point. God discriminates among those whom he so called created, giving them free will and then rejecting them when they fail to choose correctly. There is no direct access to God. Would your logical mind still accept this idea that the Bible is God's words instead of a fairytale? Do you not already know that the devil has taken over your mind. Fight it with your own righteous mind and power of reasoning and investigation.

Jesus' most famous story, about casting the first stone, was not written in jesus' lifetime. There is zero doubt - none - that this story did not appear until 400 years after Christ's execution.
Given this simple fact, it is not a leap to argue that we don't have a clue what jesus really said.

He also said "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." Matthew 7:13-14

Yes, He did say this. And NO, it isn't hard to swallow.
We have a choice. As sinful and fallen created beings, we can either pay for our sins ourselves (eternity away from God's presence) or we can accept the free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.
I choose the latter!

I believe it. It's not something that affects me one way or another. The condition of my heart is that belief is a choice. I choose to believe.

I doubt it.
I mean he preached
"turn the other cheek"
"love thy neighbour"
why would he want everyone to think he was god while he was here on earth (except maybe to get the ladies)
That stuff was all added after to make Jesus more of a cult figure whose preaching HAD to be followed, lest you want to burn in hell for eternity. Silly people. http://flushaholybook.com
