Stop. Stop with the stupid insulting questions. You get nothing but reported to Yahoo for crap like that.
I'm so sick of all these stupid questions that have no purpose other than to insult Christians.

How do you judge who is smart enough to learn the bible?
I enjoy every minute of it. I can study all day long.
I do not know what it means to be lonely, that I know for sure.
At the end of 7,130 from all that was perfect LOST, until all is Saved back to Perfect again out of the whole 49,000 years of this period of time, when it is evident that billions in time had been before that, the bible is very much to the subject at hand,
and all the other time is beside the point.
THE POINT IS ALL THAT WAS PERFECT WAS LOST AT A CERTAIN POINT IN TIME, IT ALL MUST BE SAVED.
To the end of Genesis and the death of Joseph is 2368 years of the subject time.
Gen.50:26; To the death of Moses 2553 Deut.34:7; to the death of Solomon 1Ki.11:42;
3069 years and 997 before Christ born in Rome #6 Empire 2006 years ago, 6,072 after Eden and we are still here all this time where all is LOST, waiting for the coming time when all can be SAVED Rev.20:1-6.12.13; So 7,072 years is accounted for of the 7,130 years given. SO IS THE BIBLE A RELIABLE BOOK, DOES IT TELL EVERYTHING?
2Tim.3:1-7; Matt.10:34-38; Are people as bad as the bible says, has the majority been good or has it been bad since the time of Noah Gen.8:21;

Studying anything shows great intelligence. That's not something mainstream Americans embrace. Studying the Bible is another great achievement. It's not always an easy book to understand. It takes deep thought. I'm sure that's why many (yourself?) have shied away from it. It'll change your life. Some people are afraid of that. That doesn't sound very smart to me.

I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but there is no correlation between low intelligence and bible study.
BTW, how smart does one have to be to become a nerd?
In today's society, even if one can use a computer or technology device that has been dumbed down so that a feckless monkey can use it, that doesn't make one a nerd and it certainly doesn't make one intelligent.

the thing that freaked me out about bible study is that they don't actually study the bible! there's so much to learn about the origin and editing and suppression of the texts, and all these bible studies are is just reading the texts and saying how the minister's interpretation fits with their lives.
they do bible study because they are told that's what nice ladies do and they don't wish to think for themselves.

It is not out of the realm of possibility, but isn't it also possible that they want to learn more about the bible?
Peace.
