...I know you mean well, but you shouldn't be thinking of homosexuality in terms of whose fault it might be. That's like saying "oh, it's not his fault he's (insert race here)" or "gosh, he can't help that he's so (insert physical trait here)".
It's not something that requires excuses and overlooking.
I'd probably agree with the rest of what you have to say if I believed in God, but since I don't think anyone is going to Hell (a place that doesn't exist), I'll just agree that it's bad to discriminate against homosexuals for ANY reason.

I'm a Christian and I think it is unfair too. Christians are not supposed to judge but they are to love the sinner, but hate the sin.
In fairness, I do think we live in an overly PC world where anytime a Christian says being homosexual is a sin, they are deemed hateful - which isn't necessarily true. I have a gay friend, but am also one what is bold in saying the lifestyle is one of sin.
In the end, only God can judge the heart and if someone has lived a life of unrepented sin, and I think Christians should live their faith through being a good example of love.

If anyone ever says this to you simply ask this person whether or not they eat pork or shellfish. If they answer "yes" to these questions then simply reply with..."Then so are you...". The text which talks about homosexual relationships was taken from the old testament and all christians should know that these rules no longer apply....I'm not a christian but I do know the bible very very very well...Go ask a priest this question and see him crumble under the pressure!

I could not agree more. God created us all, and He does not make mistakes. How do you think it makes God feel when those idiot christian bigots use the bible as justification for intolerance and hate? Any person who possesses even an ounce of common sense has to realize that a persons sexuality is not a choice. Ask them, Could YOU choose to be attracted to someone of your own sex . Of course not. Either you are or you aren't. One more thing. I am a woman and my best friend is a woman. I love her very much. We have laughed about this; if only we could choose to be sexually attracted to each other, our lives would be so much easier. Then we could stop hoping to someday find that one man that we want to come our way. If only we could make our bodies ache for each other the way we ache for a man to make love to us. Understand!

First Let me say that your labeling people as Christian homophobes or Jesus-Freaks is just as wrong as your point about people who bash gay people.
Now I believe that People choose to be gay not born that way. I have some gay friends and I like them for who they are. They know where I stand on Homosexually and they accpect me for have that. We do not bash each other for a different point of views.
now About those who do not go to heaven are those who do not believe in their heart and confess with their mouths that JESUS is Lord.

I disagree with them too. I'm not Christian or gay, but I think they're treating gays and lesbians unfairly. I have gay friends, and if hell truly exists, I don't believe they'd go there.

I don't like homophobes at all. But you're right, the argument that homosexuals are going to hell is ridiculous. If God made them that way, then why would God punish them for being that way?

The Bible teaches that homosexuality is a sin - and therefore is rebellion against God's law and consequently deserves death for eternity... and also lists adultery (in thought not just deed), lying, theft, covetousness, drunkenness, idolatry, etc in the same sentence. Homosexuality is simply one manifestation of our sinful hearts.
God can break the power of sin over anyone's life, through faith and trust in the Lord Jesus' death and resurrection.

The those that believe that gay people chose to be gay. One: how do you know that we chose to be gay if we do not know why we are gay ourselves? It is like saying we chose to be white or have brown hair or be born in England. There was no choice. Second: Hae you actually EVER asked a gay person if they chose to be gay? You'll get a big surprise. So stop telling us that we chose it. I certainly did not ******* choose!

Christians follow Jesus and He never said to hate anyone. Don't let some misguided people scare (or anger) you away from God. We're not all like that. I know very few Christians that feel that way, and I know a lot of Christians.
