I don't think it should happen for just a problem they are having, But the definition of suicide is vague.....Like if it came down to it, I would knowingly let myself get killed to save my wife or kid.....Would that be suicide? But just because your having a hard time in life then the answer is NO.

Generally speaking, no, but there may be exceptions where the reason for committing suicide is very understandable. Like, if a highly intellectual person catches an irreversible brain disease and starts losing his mind, and he doesn't want to be around to the bitter end. Or if someone's seriously injured and doesn't want to go on living.
Most people who commit suicide could've gotten effective treatment and lived a good life. Still, if they choose to go, I have no moral objections about it, but I pity the ones they leave behind who'll have to deal with the loss for the rest of their lives.

End stage terminal illness, I believe it's the individuals decision and that there's nothing morally or spiritually wrong with it. Any other circumstance, I believe that there are many other alternatives, and it's a tragedy when pride or inability to recognize illness precludes persuing them.

Morally it is wrong, but in some cases assisted suicide by the physician giving a large Rx of pain killer is a God send.

If they want to, I guess they have that right. It is their life, after all.
It's also not a very good idea, and is a decision that would most likely affect a lot of other people's lives.

Just knowing that she was in so much pain. makes me think I should have known and tried to help her. this is a painful subject for me and my family. the best thing is talk it out get help. let your family and friends help you please. in the long run they will thank you.

I believe each human should have total autonomy. They should have the right to do as they wish with themselves.

I believe if the person is an adult, and is terminally ill and is suffering greatly they should have that choice.
