because at aparticular time there are more than one people at the p.b with there mpbiles on as a result due to the interference of the signals some friction is produced leading to a spark which in turn can lead to the fire and thus the blast of the petrol bunk.

I don't think that there is enough reason to ban talking or using mobile at filling station. I never heard that any accident caused by talking over mobile at filling stn.and even this notifiction came to us hardly 5-6 yrs. ago but before that I had to use my mobile at filling station for several times and needless to mention that nothing has happened.

Radiation dear watson Radiation can ignite sparks which can lead to spark and bunk could erupt in fire. Of course till date there are no such reported cases but it is a preventive measure taken to safeguard.
