In the future, if you feel the "tingle" that signals a cold sore coming on, get yourself a bottle of L-Lysine from a drug store or health foods store. 500mg per tablet is good. Take 2 tablets right away. From there on out, take 1 tablet 3 times a day for about 5 days.
