Hi, burp - it's Greek to me. ;-/ (you knew that was coming). It certainly would be memorable but, unless you were fascinated by Poseidon, I'd think twice on it. It is memorable, though. I've often read that children who are given unusual names, although they may have a harder time of it in early school years, make something special of themselves. Have you considered Jacinta, Jacintha or Jacinthe ("beautiful")?
I like Althea ("healer") much better. Now that's a legacy.

It would sound better as Anthea (greek for "flowers")...as it is, it's the feminine form of Anteus, who was Poseidon's son.
Anthea sounds softer than Antea, I think.
