I think you're pretty much on target. There isn't any god, nor life after death.
You can count on horrified believers responding with all sorts of scare answers and brave certainty in their beliefs, but remember, just because someone is certain doesn't mean that person is right. Keep on questioning, and don't let anyone - me or anyone else - convince you to stop wondering. The truth is valuable, and honesty is better than certainty.

I think 13 is too young to have any religion. At your age it is only possible for you to understand what doesn't make sense to you, not what does. It's ok not to believe in god and it is ok to believe in god. It is a personal choice. Of course there is definitely more to it then just the dinosaurs. You just have to consider what faith means to you. I personally do not believe in god but I was told once that I had to. Now I realize that came from religeous insecurity about their own faith. Don't ever let anyone judge you for your beliefs or tell you you're wrong. But for now I think you might be a little young for all that. There is just far too much about religion for a 13 year old to completely understand. I'm not trying to degrade you I'm just being honest about my opinion. Which is all it is...an opinion.

The dinosaurs were not in mans creation, they were in a creation before man. God wiped them out before he created man, that is why we find fossils in the earth. There is a God young man and you will meet him one day.
When you die you simply go to the ground, back to the dirt from which you were taken. When it is time for the first Resurrection, those that died in Christ in the past, and that are Living in Christ will be changed and given Judgment. After that will be the thousand years of peace. The bible tells us, blessed are thosed that are in the first ressurection for the second death has no power over you. There is so much for you to learn. Get a King James Bible and read and pray for understanding. The Lord knows if one wants to know who he is, he will provide a way for you if you seek it. But to answer your question, there is a God. Don't you breath everyday? The bible tells you that the breath you breath is the spirit of God and when you die, it is taken away from you, thanyou die and is buried until the first or the second ressurection, depending on if you learned who the true God is, and follow his Laws and statutes. the 10 commandments dietary laws feast days etc....to be Christian is to do what Jesus did when he was on the earth. He did not go to the syagoges on sunday, he went on the sabath. John 1:1 tells us that In the Begining the Word was God and the Word was with God. For most adults this is too complex to understand. But it is so simple becasue it is what it says. Don't Listen to what anyone tells you about God, Learn it for yourself and if you seek diligently you will find out the truth.

Personally, I cannot believe in God. In my opinion, he's just an imaginary friend for adults. I'm completely atheist. My girlfriend and my best friend are both Christian, so sometimes we can debate and talk about this stuff, but I'm yet to be swayed.
However, once, my best pal and I talked for about four hours on the nature of the universe and religion and stuff. We were talking, and he said something, I cannot even remember what, and I suddenly felt completely enlightened. Like something hit me - and invisible force that just told me to believe. From that moment, I've become a little more optimistic, but not a whole lot has changed in my opinion.
There's a God if you want there to be a God, how's that?

I think that it is good for you to not just blindly follow everything you are taught, but to follow your own path and study other beliefs and points of view.
Personally, I do believe in God, but not as an old guy with a long white beard and flowing robes sitting in a throne in the clouds, but as the energy source of all life, around us unseen.
I think that Jesus was the "son of God" as we are all the sons and daughters of God and that we all originate from this source energy.
Try reading the book below for a different and much more loving and accepting perspective of God.

So you do not beleive there is a big guy in the sky watching everything you do, and if you sin he will punish you by sending you to a fire filled hell hole where you will live miserably forever. Oh, but he loves you more than anyone else. Sounds a little twisted, huh?
You sound like an intelligent 13 year old- nothing wrong with you at all!

Atleast im not alone in here, im 14. Where is the proof that dinosaurs ever truly existed? Yeam sure the bones exist but that certainly DOES NOT mean that dinosaurs were ever alive or anything, for all scientists know, those are old pre-evolution human bones.(i belive in God but partly in evolution too, like God planned evolution n stuff) Mayb we looked like "dinosaurs" a billion years ago. and pesonally, i DO belive in God, he is the only semi-logical way of any of this being created or anything, and besides, if he didnt exist, why the hell would somebody go through all the trouble of making a Bible and Commandments? tell me that. and how something as complex as the human body was created. Hope this helps you beleive a little :) good luck!

You are correct but here's a word of advice from your follow atheist. Hold on to your religion just a bit longer. I stopped believing in the tooth fairy long before I lost the last of my baby teeth but I wanted the dollars. I had my parents convinced I still believed in Santa at age 10 and knew he would find a way to get me the expensive gifts I wanted. Likewise if it benefits you in some way to pretend, for the benefits of parents or whatever, its not that hard to pretend you still believe in God. Most people don't become atheists until their 20s and some never get that analytical. You're mature and very logical. If you don't have others like you in your environment just blend with what you have until you're old enough to select your own company and run your own life.

Don't worry about the dinosaurs, if God created them, then you'll see them in Heaven. perhaps Satan destroy them all when He was thrown out of Heaven, for being a bad angel.
God should be in ur heart before religion or Church. I had many experiences with the Lord, and holy ghost out side of the church, and I can tell you He is real, seek the Lord in ur heart first, have prayer, and focus on Him, and what His face looks like to you when you pray, be sincere from your heart, when you feel your heart, He felt it to..... ur faith, and relationship can only grow from that point.
