it really depends on what type of car stereo system is in it currenltly, if it is jst the regular stock radio that doesnt have a premium speaker system then you shouldnt pay more than 40 bucks, but if you have like a bose or something then all of your speakers are on amps and they all need to be bypassed to work properly, that could cost you a little more. oh yeha and if its a regular ford radio then dont pay more then like 30 bucks cuz they are the easiest

if you buy a cd player from an audio store normally the install is included but if you buy a cd player off ebay or something and goto a audio store they will try to change ya alot since you didnt buy it from them
Best way to do it would be to call walmart and ask if they have a wiring harness for a cd player for your make and model its all color coded you can do it yourself, if you have anymore audio related problems post and ill help

I am in the Ottawa area and worked in a stereo shop and the cost to in stall a stereo was $45.00 and then additional cost if we needed a mounting bracket and wire harness

You mean in your car? I would guess maybe $20. But lots of places would include installation in your purchase price, with no additional charge.
