Take the bag gently and squeeze from the bottom. Work your way up the bag squeezing gently but FIRMLY until you reach the top. Repeat as necessary until the crunching noise stops. That is the indication that the chips have received sufficient conditioning to prevent spillage. Now take a pair of scissors ant carefully cut along the top of the bag.

first of all don't fight with the bag. If it won't open easily get sissors and cut the top off. everytime I fight with the bag and think I am human I will win I loose because the chips go all over the floor
