make a white jiffy cake mix which is about 50 cents- bake it on a cookie sheet so it's really flat then top it with vanilla pudding- then completely drain a lg can of crushed pinapple and sprinkle over top the pudding- use Cool whip spread over the top then crush some walnuts and sprinkle. Chill till ready to serve. It will cost under $5.00 and feed 10 or more people. It is such a refreshing dessert. UMMMM!

Make some scones: use a biscuit recipe, add a couple of tablespoons sugar, and some ripe fruit like blackberries, currants, or raisins.
Bake as usual.

scrambled eggs. Or a couple of jars of baby food. They're cheap and nourishing! ;)

My advice? Go for the fruit desserts....!
