Go to the car wash with the high pressure wands. If they are greasy put some laundry soap on them and let them soak for a little while. Then put in your quarters and spray them with the high pressure soap and then the high pressure rinse. You will be amazed at how much dirt and grime comes out. When you are done rinsing them take them over to the vacuum where you can vacuum out most of the water. Put them in the trunk and when you get them home lay them out to finish drying before you put them back in your car otherwise them may get mildewy. I have done this many times and it works great. As for the carpet that stays in the car you can use a can of carpet shampoo specially made for cars which should be readily available at any auto parts store or places like walmart. I used Scrubbing bubbles once to get ground in grease out of my carpet and it worked better than I had dared hope. Spray it on scrub it around let it dry and then vacuum it out. But for just the mats the car wash method works the best.

rent a carpet shampooer with a hand attachment to do the carpet and cloth seats use boiling hot water and soap from the machine rental place do the floors of your house too. Lots of vacuuming to get the moisture out as good as you can. It is summer leave the car in a safe place in the sun windows down to air out turn off the dome light and even open the doors turn the car so the sun can dry it out completely all of this will take two days to complete Carpet floor mats can be hung up and soap sprayed and rinsed out at the self service car wash allow mats to dry about one day carry home in a big bag and hang them up clothes line or tack them to a tree or garage wall

certain, you should use a rigidity washer or a hose in case you do not have a rigidity washer..... Use the Bissell carpet purifier, it particularly works great.... first spray the mats to get each and every of the airborne dirt and dirt off.... drain a number of the water off the mats..... then pour some answer and use a good brush reminiscent of broom bristles or a vacuum brush, and scrub scrub scrub.... rinse off the mats and repeat..... repeat till you spot the mats sparkling for your pride, and enable your mats draw close to dry or lie them flat interior the solar.... even as they are totally dry in an afternoon or 2 spray them with Scotchgard you should purchase a can for more beneficial or less $12.00 enable this dry for an afternoon and then spray your mats back.... you could then positioned them back interior the vehicle, or shop them for once you promote your vehicle.. solid success!

well you should rinse with warm soap water and some citrus oil to slip off the dirt, then scrub for 2 minutes, then use a hose to rinse, do not use a pressure washer as for it wil kick the nap too high and allow dirt to re-enter, and it will mess up the carpet, next take a fresh lemon, and cut it in half after that you take each half and rub it against the carpet to kill the odors and the dirt that the soap left behind then vaccuum up the excess water, DO NOT RINSE THE LEMON OFF!! then let the carpet dry in the sun

At most automotive stores they sell "canned" foaming carpet shampoo. Spray it on, brush it in, let it dry and vacuum it out.
