Bravo! Here's a cookie. That's what you asked this question for, right?
I'm not religious, so you cant say that I am. Does asking this question make you feel more confident about your beliefs? Stop arguing. Let people make up their minds on their own, If an Atheist wants to find god, then he should do it on his terms, not by being convinced by others and the other way around...why discuss this back and forth, back and forth and argue about HOW to live, when you could actually be living.

I do see the irony of that statement. Although how can a person clai, to agnostic if they are following the early treachings in Matthew? He is teaching of the birth and life of Christ. the pentitudes, so from this how do you become agnostic?

I don't spend any time trying to refute evolution. I believe evolution is plausible. The only thing I say is that it isn't fact. It is scientific theory. And the reason I say that is because many atheists ask, "Show me proof of God," citing evolution as obvious fact, and I say something along the lines of, "Show me proof of evolution." Not to disprove evolution but to point out that it isn't a fact the way death is a fact.
I am a Christian. I don't think that if evolution is true that this disproves that God sent his Son to earth to die for our sins.
The theory of evolution and the salvation of human souls can coexist peacefully.

I have never used that logic.
What all you evolution morons should do is work in the construction industry for a few years. The mistakes and shear stupidity from the engineers/architects all the way down to the lowly laborer, have been more than enough evidence that evolution is impossible.
These building projects are designed and in planning, sometimes for many years. The amount of oversight s and mistakes are nothing short of amazing.
Now, as these things are being done by men with intelligence and deliberate forethought, yet the structures do not maintain and repair themselves, nor procreate, how can one realistically look to evolution as a plausible reason for self replicating and repairing lifeforms of the variety that has filled the earth?
Ever thought of this argument?

Sinyckel,
I don't belive, as you said, that I evolved from a monkey. But that doesn't make me a Chirstian or non-Christian. The point I am making is that it's not an important question to me.
The things that are important are those things pertaining to God, not Evolution. I might for entertainment's sake join in on a little conversation, but I am not talking about anything that matters anyway.
Perhaps you are referring to someone else.

There are ALREADY a great number of non-theistic sorts of spirituality, if it truly is what you have become at. some were round for thousands of years. no want to reinvent the wheel. i do not see why that is so significant for theists to drop a theistic-depending spirituality for a non-theistic one. i fairly do not care what human beings believe, as long as they're deepest about it. besides, basically because an ideology is non-theistic would not advise that it may't be full of absurd or risky claims. As for utilising "psychological arguments adversarial to faith", it relies upon on what sort that takes. once you're affirming that some zealots have a deeply held conception such that no quantity of common sense or counter data will cause them to replace that, I agree. even with the undeniable fact that it really is nevertheless significant for persons to face their floor at the same time as being challenged through a number of those folk, noticeably at the same time as they're attempting to bypass regulations.

The proof of evolution is the apes that only made it as far as looking like us humans. You can identify them easily because they are religious since they lack the mental capacity to understand logic and science. And I don't try to refute god, because I refuse to argue with a lower life form.

That is a very valid point...the whole debate is silliness to me. No one can win on either side, and truly it takes away from the larger issues.
Whether we evolved or were created is not the big problem......I believe that everyone can agree that we are here now, right?.....And do we want to get to this point in history just to destroy each other and our planet?
Yes or No

I get it. That's kinda funny.
I think most people are unclear what an athiest actually is: someone who believes the non-existence of God can be proven beyond a doubt.
Many people who think they are atheists are actually agnostics; they believe the existence of God cannot be proven or disproven.

When a thing is set into motions it tends to stay in motion. The same with biology. When an organism is doing its thing it tends to keep on doing its thing. If evolution really happened, then it should still be happening, but it is not. Why? Because it NEVER happened.
