Went to California this summer. Everyone was a closet smoker hiding their habit from the public. I had to laugh. My friend who never smoked has taken up the habit. Everyone there was really obsessed with being a size 2.

Seriously, yes. The social stigma against smoking is getting stronger day by day, plus the overwhelming evidence of negative health effects is getting hard to ignore.
Most of the smokers I see now are older people who just refuse to give it up, which is their decision after all. But I don't see as many young people smoking.
