Unless you have a lease a lawsuit won't do any good. Just tell her to move.

I would say no, don't sue her for rent. You need to sit down with her and have a serious talk. let her know you expect her to pay rent, and by what date you expect it. let her know that if she does not pay she will need to find other living arrangements. now if she is out of work or something then you have to let her know you will give her X amount of time to get a job and start catching up. the hard part is to stick to your guns on the issue. If she is unable to pay the rent take it out in trade, make her do jobs for you. the important think here is she needs to understand life is not free of responsibilities. we all have them , she needs to live up to hers. Try to maintain your family connection though. these are important and can't be replaced. good luck

Kick her out! Tell her she has 1 week to come up with the rent she owes you, no excuses. If she hasn't paid, remove all her stuff from your house. I wouldn't bother suing her. Just get her out of there or she will continue to take advantage of you.
