If you are another Indian nationalist trying to force that "Sanskrit is the root of all languages" crap on us, forget it. About 200 of the world's 6000 or so languages are related to Sanskrit and only about 100 or so languages and dialects are directly descended from Sanskrit. Sanskrit is only about 3500 years old at the most. The oldest records of Sanskrit aren't much older than the oldest records of any other language on the Indian subcontinent.

If you are another Indian nationalist trying to force that "Tamil is the root of all languages" crap on us, forget it. About 20 languages are related to Tamil and the oldest records of Tamil aren't any older than the oldest records of Sanskrit. Old Tamil probably separated from Proto-South Dravidian about 3500 years ago or less.
