I was taught at a young age to believe Yes. However I made the final choice at a later date in life after checking out some other forms of religion for myself. I do believe in Jesus Chrsit the Son of God, and God the Father. This is not a germ growing inside of me it is A love beyond belief that helps me to have compassion on people from all walks of life and all mentalities. IMy love of my Lord gives me a peace of mind that I can do what I need to do in this cold cruel world. So take your germ war fare elsewhere , I may be poor financially but I am rich when it comes to my Lord and Saviour.

Thomas Alva Edison,I think you already believe you know the answer. The ultimate answer is that we should rise above religions, using religion as a stepping stone to enter the heart where we will find GOD and UNCONDITIONAL LOVE is the same thing.once you have transcended the mind and live in the heart, religion drops away.I will always be grateful for the religious practices and teachers I have had. I think each of the religions you stated have very good points to them. If a true believer follows the teachings -truly from the heart--and not judge each other based on their beliefs then the world would be very peaceful.
Unfortunately, there are those that think their way of thinking is the only true way. If there weren't valid points to these religions then the chance they would still be around wouldn't be very good.

I became a Christian at the university. What I find fascinating is that the gospel sees God siding with the human being, casting his/her lots with the least privileged and the victims of injustices. The gospel stresses joy and celebration and takes a rebellious attitude against the powers to be which are into belittling human dignity.
(I wasn't aware that by taking this step as a student I was driving you mad!)

There's nothing in human language that could possibly communicate this "Ultimate Answer". But at the same time, there's nothing else except human language to communicate anything at all. Add the two together.
