I vote YEA. Our government should allow them to do their jobs without fear of law suits for doing so. The government should do THEIR job and get the wall or fence completed and get more patrols down there, instead of dragging their lazy @sses and stalling on the issue until elections. We have one sorry government and IT needs total purging and NEW, fresh people with fresh ideas and a willingness to listen to "We the People" instead of 'them' the illegals and their supporters or 'them' the big business and corporations who WANT the cheap labor.

Shooting's not the answer, clear-headed thinking is, along with good co-operation between the government, the border patrol, and state and local government. If you wanna volunteer, go check out the Minutemen, become a member etc., but leave the rifle at home, and bring your smarts instead.
Take all that energy, and condense it into a letter to Congress.
Carbon-copy your state representatives, and even your city council. This is what civics is all about, citizens utilizing government for something besides just as a whipping-boy.
This is where it comes in under 'petitioning for grievance' and so forth, you know, that 'constitution' thing, the one they said that bush called a 'a goddamn piece of paper' or somesuch... I forget the original quote, but it's that attitude that's going down the Road To Hell, as far as I can tell. When you're a hammer, everything looks like a nail, and the illegal immigration issue is just part of the Big Picture, which is that our global population has multiplied 6 times over since the turn of last century, roughly.
So yeah, take up pen and paper, or now in the modern age, send email, but do it the right way, don't be belligerent, address this issue as though it were important, and as though those whom you were addressing deserved some respect for the job they do.
Illegal immigration isn't going to go away by next week, and shooting up the place will do one thing: Make it 10 times worse.
Patience, and clear-headed thinking, will be the best tools on this and many other issues. Unfortunately, first you have to clear away the politicial pressure, and the money, and the hyperbole, to get at the facts of the matter, and that's Hard Work...
I'd like to see more people doing some of that Hard Work instead of trying to just rile people up...

Our government would not rather look to care on the subject of the border. a pair of years in the past congress voted to construct seven-hundred miles of double fencing alongside the border. President Bush signed it into regulation. yet now human beings in congress try to scale it decrease back to approximately 3 hundred miles, and single fencing. they'll in all threat argue approximately it for some greater years in the previous they do something. i think of the government is secretly making plans a North American Union, so as that they in all threat do no longer desire to guard it too plenty.

Don't you get it, the reason GWB wants more people in the border guard is because he can then have them re-assigned to Iraq. Nobody wants to join the army anymore to go and get killed fighting for a false war so he needs another way to get people into the military. And whats better than the thought of defending your homeland at home?
