Beer will clear your system at a rate of 1 per hour, lower density liquors will clear about the same, but your BAC can be affected by your eating or sleeping habits for that day as well as your tolerance level. If you awoke in a Hospital you were easily above .4 BAC, but this isn't a bragging right, if you must drink know your tolerance level. Be glad you were in the hospital, and not waking up to 2 guys named BUBBA who coincidentally think you got a pretty mouth...lol

For a non-alcoholic, you're fortunate to be alive with a BAC of .38. Your physique is going to take a on the same time as to "detox" itself. Drink lots of fluids and relax as your physique tells you to. A multivitamin can no longer injury the two.

You leave out an important factor, which is your body weight. Seeing as you ended up in the hospital, unconscious, it is clear that your BAC was way too high!
