In both heaven & earth, we serve the Lord. He blesses us in return.

We must always be ready to serve the Lord. Heaven is HIS kingdom, not ours. God provides for us, but we serve him because we are HIS servants. Jesus demonstrated how a servant should properly serve by washing the feet of his disciples, but do not expect God to wash your feet in heaven. Jesus loves you.

Hell is a tactic used through religion to certain, blackmail you into believing the religion. Hell creates concern in human beings, and they sense they could be a believer to dodge the fiery flames of hell. you're surely precise once you're saying a loving god would not favor to blackmail someone into serving him. seems fairly malevolent, do not ya imagine? placed complete faith in me or burn in hell for all eternity. Ouch! i'm an atheist (former Catholic) and that i now not ought to rigidity about the hell-burden. once you compromise for that faith is quite a number of fairy memories and unsupported claims, you is surely not so terrified of hell. faith relieves human beings of their concern of lack of existence through giving them an afterlife (heaven). It also provides a objective in existence and a ugly afterlife (hell) for nonbelievers. do not be afraid. obviously you pastor is fending off you. Your pastor received't have any good solutions. How do you clarify a malevolent god and the fiery hell he created for the persons he supposedly "loves".
