All of do, it's part of life. Don't let it control you. No one is better than anyone else, we just choose, or are dealt, different paths. We ALL put our pants on one leg at a time, we all poop, we all have a mole or a wart and we all have moments of low self esteem. Place yourself mentally on an even keel with the rest of us, you're just as good as anyone.

Hi mate. Yes, I have been troubled with self doubts for my entire life. This affected me more when I was younger. Now, just past 40, I have become pretty good at hiding these feelings and putting on a brave, confident front and I have held down a good job for several years. Believe in yourself...you are as good as the next person!! Best of luck, Robin

I have had this problem all my life.I try not to let it control me, but it's difficult, and as much as everyone else tells me that they feel the same way, I always feel that they are better equipped to deal with it.Lacking in confidence, being put down by those that are supposed to love you and encourage you are I think my main reasons for feeling this way.Like, today, I have dropped off my daughter and her friend at the pub, and they want me to join them later on this evening, and I said ''Yeah, I will see you later", but inside me, I know that there's no way I will walk into the pub on my own.I can't cope with being watched(even though I'm told no-ones watching), and just clam up, have nothing to say, but, within me somewhere, is the power to be the person who I want to be, as, going out with a group of friends, a couple of drinks, and I am the life and soul of the party,(so I am told).I have healed myself alot in the last few years, I don't want to spend the rest of my life worrying as I know life is too short, so that's why I secretly try to hide my insecurities. Its very hard to believe in yourself, but try your best to do so, and always follow your dreams!

Most of us have these feelings at times. If you are feeling this way most of the time, perhaps you need to speak with someone you trust such as a family member, teacher or another adult friend. Below is a link to an article on self esteem.

I think that everyone has self doubt at different times about different things...thats just being human....but if becomes an everyday, every situation occurance you probably need to seek counseling. Just try to think positive...everyone has something to contibute in this life, even you! Just remember that you are unique and special...just because you may have doubts about yourself doesn't mean you are not a worthy being. Good Luck and try to think positively.

yeah that is so normal.as humans we are constantly mind wrestling with ourselves its a daily battle of positve vs. negative.Constantly reasurring yourself that you are okay. that you are good enough.competent.some just may be worst with it than other where neurotic behaviors come about and phobias and etc. but just stay hydrated, get excercise, sleep well, eat well,
try to hang with people that are positive not draining, try to laugh as much as you can, try to do the thing s that make you smile on this planet you don't know how long you have. most people are not happy with their hair loss, incomes, body weight, looks, their spouse, car, where they live, jobs, kid issues, who knows.......but we all go through it.

These feeling come and go in us all. Some ignore them, others wallow in self-pity until the feeling passes. When "dark" feelings lead to "dark" actions, it's time to go get help.

"The Feeling Good Book" by Dr David Burns is the best self esteem booster, if you do the exercises.

99.9% of people are worried by self doubt. Some people are just better at hiding it. I personally am comfortable with my personality but have no belief in my abilities.
