We learn from everything in life...that makes it a discovery and learning process. Each lesson changes our consciousness. With new knowledge we are constantly becoming different. That makes it a journey and a process. Destination would indicate that we are leading to a specific place. All this learning and change is a journey in itself. Enjoy the journey!

journey/game/test in my view. I've come to believe we're all here to learn what we need to learn. Ideally you learn and progress through each life stage. For some people this works out nicely, for others it is more of a struggle. There is no destination, that is an illusion, an ever shifting horizon. There is always something that is next.

I think caramoanboy's got it:
All of the above!!
In fact, the current prophet of the world has especially likened it to a journey.
"So enjoy the ride!" he said.
Life is the complete package!
And, no doubt, all of it will contribute to who we are and our journey and preparation for the next stage of existence after this life.
Probably some better descriptions may have been via words such as 'process of progression', preparation, place/opportunity to gain a body [since we were only spirits before this life], opportunity for us to gain faith and personal power [by no longer being in God's presence and relying on Him to sort out our problems - as previous to earth life].
Revelations also tells us we are here to "overcome".
Either way, basically we are here to progress, to learn and to grow - both physically and character-wise.
As one prophet said, "The purpose of life is to achieve happiness ... and will be the end thereof, if we pursue the path that leads to it ... and that path is virtue, kindness, goodness, faith, honesty, etc, etc ..."

That's a good question and everyone has their own belief on what life is. Personally, I think it's a process we go through from the minute we're born to the minute we die. We learn as we grow. Everything from learning to walk and talk to learning how to deal with illness as we age.

God is a favorable stress, yet there is yet another stress that's unfavorable......try blaming the surprising stress. they have shown that plant life, animals , bugs, micro organism, viruses, and so on.........have all developed yet they might't locate any evolution concerning people. A monkey continues to be a monkey and a guy continues to be a guy, the information that they discovered a monkey walk on its hind legs would not instruct that he's a element of the human race.

I always understood life to be our personal journey between birth and death. And death is simply birth to a different life.
