I don't have free will, but I have "WILL".A brain is something else. What is it really. But a machine that makes your body parts function. Not to compare us to chickens, but why when you cut off the head the chicken is still able to function without the head.Even though thier breains are the size of a peanut, they do not have many duties to perform. To what I was led to believe, satan has free will and that was his gift to mankind. And you see the result of free will.I am far from the smartest nor wisest, but that does not make me an idiot or nonprudent.I have "will" and that makes the difference.I believe in GOD and my GOD is not jesus.Meaning he is not my creater.Nor is my mother and father. They simply had sex and I was the outcome. They have no power to fashion me, but to concieve me.The human brain is something else. But will is from THE GOD.Free will is from satan. But the brain is something else to explain.Like how most of our actions are involuntary or subconsciencly done. But is all done by the brain.Maybe all of our actions are subconsciencely done and that is the will of GOD.And we are simply here for the ride. But malice by the choices involved by ones self is done by free will. And that is of satan. Now the question is open for"What is a soul?.Is it dictated by your actions and choices?Seen and unseen? To define what is your soul.WHO ARE YOU.I had free will for years and have done some terrible things and as soon as I accepted my religion and started to believe in GOD then the free will vanished. And now I travel with "will".And to my belief it is not mine to own, but GOD.And "free will" is from satan. But this is just my belief, so some(and when I say some, I mean most) will not, can not, and won't accept it.But that's just "ME".PEACE!

To measure the frequencies this reality exists in and provide emotional feedback as expressions for the soul. The chemical reactions help develop an ego, for without it, we would just float in and out of separate realities.
Think of the brain like a prism.
Freewill is all possible possibilities, and our own personal experiences narrow the limits. Also, whatever else we have accepted as truth or have been indoctrined into believing.
If thoughts existed on a plane, then only our previous knowns would be able to access parts of it unless we had a complete ah-ha experience, then we have something very special.
Creativiy then seems like a very special attribute.

God is a fictional character created by the brain of man. So you have it backwards. The brain's free will gave us God.

A brain operates in the physical/material vibration...the mind is a higher consciousness. Free will exists in the mind which uses our brain to manifest. The brain does nothing without the subconscious providing the thought.

That question doesnt work. Its like asking ' If God gave us hope, why do we have hair?"

We have a brain ... but as for this 'Free Will' thing, I dont know what it is.

Free will to me means that I choose my actions. There are consequences. They are either good or bad consequences. I am responsible for the choices I make. God is not responsible. I am.

Our free will is to surrender to God or not. And our brain is meant to understand why to surrender to Him is a much better choice.
