I was thinking of a funny name, a verb...kid friendly only please? Like fidget ? Or something from Friends, but not Monica, Ross, Gunther etc.? Or something IRISH like..uh..Guiness? No..ugh!

Just some food for thought from someone whom owns 8 Cockatiels. If you are not 100% positive of the sex which can really only be done via DNA test, you may want to pick a name that is not indicitive of either a male or a female. I only say this because I now have a female named Buddy, a female named Pierre, and a male named Goldie. We were uninformed when we named these three and regret not picking a simple word for a name. After learning from our mistakes we named one 'tiel snowball since he is a beautiful white bird and another squirt since he was so small and the runt of the clutch. Just my opinion!

My cockatiel is named Lucy...because she looks like a Lucy. However, I used to have a cockatiel that had nearly an entire yellow body with the red circles on her cheeks and looked just like:
PIKACHU. Thus that was her name: Pikachu
