With the holidays, not all that far away,......I need to know a couple of things. With folks of the Jewish faith, I know they don't recognize Christmas; but how do they feel about recieving Christmas cards and Christmas presents? I certainly wouldn't want to to insult anyone,.....far from it..

Send "Happy Holiday" cards without a Christian theme and no Santa Claus either. You could write inside something about Hanukkah on the inside for the Jewish friends and something about Christmas for the Christian friends if you feel you need to acknowledge the precise holiday.

Happy Holidays to you!

Peace on Earth everyday.

Send cards that say Happy Holidays or pick out a card for their specific holiday.

To avoid this I say to people I encounter Happy Holiday that way it can mean whatever holiday they celebrate. I myself celebrate Yule not Christmas or Hannukkah or Kwanza

Dont send them a card. Instead concentrate of THEIR holidays, such as Rosh Hashanna, and Hannukah.

I wouldn't be offended receiving a Hannukah card--would you? "Happy Holidays" or "Seasons Greetings" covers it. Just be respectful--don't, for example, give them a Bible or a crucifix.

I would wait to see if they send you a Christmas card first, and if they don't then that would be your clew to know if they celebrate Christmas or not.

If someone is insulted by you remembering them at the special time, you probably don't need them for friends, anyhow.

Etiquette i think ...... cause they can't please everybody to believe the same religion they have . . so they should respect whatever religion you have and what you believe in.
