Take chicken, or beef or pork, cut into bite size pieces and brown well in a little olive oil. Season with salt & pepper, garlic powder and ginger. Add 1/2 cup of beef or chicken broth and simmer until meat is done.
Chop onions, carrots, celery. Saute them in butter or olive oil. Add some frozen peas, if you like.
Add the rice to the vegetables. Mix well, add soy sauce to taste. Combine with cooked meat and mix well again. Adjust seasonings.
Heat thoroughly.
Serve with a green salad.

Cabbage rolls, casseroles (lots of them use cooked rice), stuffed peppers or eggplant, fried rice, or you can mix it into meatloaf, meatballs, or burgers. Make stir-fry and mix the rice with some of the sauce, then serve the stir-fry on top.
You could make rice pudding for dessert out of it too.

Make Rice Pudding. It's easy, and bacause its not too common anymore, people really love it.
Another thing I do with rice, (and I intentionally make extra rice, just so I can do this) is to have it in the morning, with sugar, cinnamon, and milk poured over it. If its cold outside, then I warm it in the microwave. I love it.

You can use your rice to make fried rice. Its customary in asia to use old left over rice into fried rice. It tastes good and it allows you to reuse left over rice.
