Does anyone know where I can find 40lb. bags of Hill's Science Diet Puppy Large Breed Dry Dog Food at a reasonable price? The cheapest I've found is $36.00. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Science Diet is not a very good food. It is high priced and well advertised, but you can do better for the money.

There are some good nutrition information on the internet. And then go study labels at the feed store.

Actually, that is a good price for a 40lb bag. I just bought a 10 pound bag for $14.49! You may try ordering it from the internet but I think they shipping charges would cause you to exceed the original price of just buying it from the vet. Good Luck

you will find that science diet is at the higher end of the market when it comes to premium brands. However in working out the actual feeding amount u will find that the bags last alot longer as u dont have to feed as much. They are 100% balanced, and an excellent diet for puppies esp cos they have the large breed type, which calculates the right amount of calcium needed for faster growing dogs.

Science Diet is a terrible food with tons of fillers and other bad ingredients. Try finding a different food to feed.

Petco or Petsmart are usually reasonably priced, also try Target. However you may want to switch to a different brand Like Nutro.

Try Petco. That's where I get it. You vet also might have it for a reasonable price.
