If you actually "sit at work all day", you'd be better off eating smaller, nutritious "snacks" throughout the day, rather than having a larger meal. You'll be more alert and energetic as the day wears on.

Eat some light breakfast before you leave the house, and bring your snacks to work with you. Good choices are things that you can just put into your briefcase or desk, such as fresh fruit, single-serve granola bars, or muffins (wrapped in plastic). But avoid too much candy...the sugar gives you a quick burst of energy, but it soon wears off, leaving you more tired than before.

Whole grain muffin with butter or jam and yogurt. Bring your breakfast with you and eat when you get there.

My husband keeps packets of instant oatmeal at work so that he can have that if he's missed breakfast.

I usually go with yogurt, a breakfast bar, or instant oatmeal, but I don't eat a large breakfast either.
