My father is a Crusader, meaning he is a Bible Thumping racist, he sent me these scriptures, so my question is, does God hate?

Isaiah 1:13 Do not bring any more meaningless offerings;

I consider your incense detestable!

You observe new moon festivals, Sabbaths, and convocations,

but I cannot tolerate sin-stained celebrations!

Isaiah 1:14 I hate your new moon festivals and assemblies;

Isaiah 61:8 For I, the Lord, love justice

and hate robbery and sin.

Malahi 2:16 "I hate divorce"

Psalm 119:104 Your precepts give me discernment.

Therefore I hate all deceitful actions.

Psalm 31:6 I hate those who serve worthless idols

I thought God was full of love. Isn't Hate an evil bearing emotion?

No! God is love. Just repent of your sins and accept Jesus into your heart as your Savior.

God is the absolute Good so there's no way He tolerates evil because it's directly opposed to the goodness of God. However God is also Patient and Merciful because He does not always punish our sins directly but gives us time to repent.

So somehow you can say that God "hates" but he hates only what's evil and never us humans in and of ourselves since we are all good and created by him.
What he hates is sin, and evil because it's a lack of goodness and not created by him (or perhaps you should rather say sin is hatred of God )

While it is certain that God does love –this is the reason Jesus died on the cross– it is equally certain that God not only loves, but that He also Hates.

Some synonyms for hate (to detest) are: venom, rancor, revenge, malignity, abomination, abhorrence, animosity, abhor, execrate, scorn, despise, look at with loathing, spit upon, anathematize, curse, swear eternal enmity, dislike intensely, shudder at, have enough of, be repelled by, feel repulsion for, have no use for, object to, bear malice, bear a grudge against, spurn, shrink or recoil from, disparage, shun, nauseate, tread or trample underfoot, denounce, resent, curse, be sick or tired of, reject, revolt against, hold cheap, deride, have no taste or stomach for, disfavor, look down upon, feel malice toward, be malevolent, hold in contempt, be disgusted with, view with horror, owe a grudge to.

These are words humans put into the mouth of God. These may even be the words humans thought they heard God say. God is beyond human...God is God. God is also infinite love and forgiveness. All you have to do to receive both is to ask.

God does not exist, so he can't hate. The Bible, however, is filled with hate and violence. Read it some time, or check out this site.

The Christians apparently think so, since they are hating on a regular basis as they supposedly do what God wants them to do.

Yes he hates but what does he hate?
Remember he is a parent, you are his children!
what would happen if in the presents of a parent, you called the child, stupid and ugly?
or slapped the child,
or did something worse?

should God feel less?

love and hate are human emotions -- god is often described using human emotions so that we can understand him (because in truth he is beyond our comprehension). But ll emotions are creations of god...hate is no more alien to god than love, hunger or goofiness is.
