Nobody can tell you jack about this "bump" without seeing it and a throrough exam. It's unfortunate you don't have money, but its irresponsible to be asking Jo schmo, thirteen yr olds on line for advice on a living helpless being's health. Call a vet and get some advice that way! At least describing onset and the "bump" to a trained (8 years of college) individual would yeild a better response.

get over it, get the money and take him to the vet. that is your responsibility as a pet owner. You shouln't have gotten a dog if you couln't afford it. If you had a broken leg you would want to go to the hospital, right? If this is a serious problem, and you do nothing, and is fatal as a result you could be charged with animal cruelty. So, what is more affordable now, a responsible trip to the vet or a heavy fine and time in jail? your choice. just make the right one.

P.S.if its a swore put triple antibiotic oitment on it and clean it really good once a day to make sure its not gonna get in fected most likely it will heal up and be fine.(clean cut with rubbing achol)

Well, if it's bleeding a bit, don't use alcohol. That'll sting and your dog will yip. It does hurt! You have no choice. It could be a tumor, it could just be a bump. You have no choice if it's a tumor. Take him to the vet! It could be your dog or your money. Try an ice-pack, and if that does nothing, than take him.

Best Wishes to you and your pooch! :D

How old is the dog? Have you checked to see if he has ticks on him? Could be a lot of different things, perhaps even a fight with another dog.... need more info. Most vets will let you make payments on their bill. Call around until you find one that will and take your friend in there.

Get over it and do something that you don't want to. It's probably a tumor.
