Not if you work hard and try to retain it. Relationships are all about adjusting and trying to make things work. If you have a negetive attitude towards it then obviously it will fail.

Love has so many levels. The feelings DO change, but that doesn't mean the love disappears. If its love...
Sometimes, what we think is love, is actually just a physical attraction and that will fade after time.
I was "in love" with a man once. It was a life consuming love... I couldn't stand it when he wasn't around. But, after about 6 mnths, the physical nature of the relationship faded and I was left with someone I really didn't like anyway.
But, grown up adult love that lasts for a substantial period of time does lack some of the excitement that teenage love used to have. Its not a loss of love its just different and very fulfilling I might add.
Evaluate where your love life is and how long you've been with this person... is it the person you love or the idea?
Good Luck to you!!

Well not sure im an authority to say. Have been with my lady for two and a half years been living with her for eight months. But what ive seen so far just the change in our relationship with time comes from knowing your partner. Communication is the key. Keeping thing fun and interesting. To me that is why it is so important for not only be lovers but to be friends as well.

I should hope not. A lot of things in a relationship cool or dissipate over time, but love should grow. If you find yourself in a relationship where the love towards the other person is lacking, you need to find yourself a new relationship.

Everything evolves, including relationships and emotions. You may not feel those stomach butterflies anymore, but how do you feel about your partner otherwise? Is there a good friendship between you? Do you FEEL like partners?

It changes. Grows. Moves. It's fluid, dynamic. The hard work is keeping connected and communication lines open with the one you love.

If your lucky, it starts to grow and evolve. It becomes deeper.

"But if in your fear you would seek only Love's peace and Love's pleasure, then it is better for you that you cover your nakedness and pass out of Love's threshing-floor, into the seasonless world where you shall laugh, but not all of your laughter, and weep, but not all of your tears."
