along with my 3 year old. i am single (25) and still studying. dads been working in customs for border patrol for 19 years. what are the chances that we will get approved despite the fact that he is a government employee? thank you..

You have to think about what the Mexican government is going to get out of it. If you go to the US, you might not come back, so you better be someone who's going to send money back to Mexico. If you're poor, with no skills, not married, and have kids then the chances of you getting a visa are low.

Doesn't matter who works where. If you meet the requirements for a travel visa it will be approved.

My wife's sister still lives in Mexico. She's single, has kids, and not many job skills. Her whole family is in the U.S. now, but she can't get a visa even though all she wants to do is visit.

Why don't you just come like everyone else does, illegally?
