People from the 3. world is trying to go anywhere (USA, EU) because they have no money in their world. But most of them do not have a real picture about USA or EU. Western civilization is not better place to live, not even for us in the West. I am from Europe and I know that I would never want to live in USA. It is too dirty country, with phony and aggressive people. It is not a good place to raise children....

The opportunity for a free ride is a huge incentive, its not like they throw illegals in jail or anything, if you get caught you get a free ride home and tomorrow you can try again. America is not bad but it is heading down a road of self destruction driven by a bunch of useless, self serving, big business catering politicians.

Everyone isn't trying to get in. I would never ever live there--the richest country with the most poor people (as pointed out by Kurt Vonnegut). An example of a sweeping statement that gives creedence to the view that Americans are megalomaniacs who think the world revolves around them. Let's try to be more realistic and contribute to a even and inclusive view of the good ole USA.

I thought about it again and here is what I come up with.
It's the people that makes a country good or bad.mexicans hate mexicans.I wouldn't want to live in a country full of mexicans,hell I would try to get out to.But thats the whole thing in a nut shell,mexicans dont want to live in mexico with other mexicans.They are not smart enough to fix their problem,so they come to the white man for help.I got to figure they are just plain stupid.
They must learn to take care of themselves.As long as they are getting free hand outs they are going to take em.
And yes,it's an invasion.

Well gokart, you know what the answer is- CASH. As lola has pointed out, many of today's immigrants no longer care about, know about, or, respect anything about the United States or American culture; of course, many immigrants have been brainwashed by the corrupt leaders that hinder economic prosperity (and sometimes personal liberty) in their home nations that it is somehow the United States and Americans who are responsible for their plight; in fact, you know WE owe everybody across the globe the right to come here to make money because somehow WE have exploited them at home (our whole society/culture is also corrupt and evil for the manner we exploit people in other nations and then continue to exploit them as immigrants inside the US, but they'll deal with this by "insulating" themselves as much as possible from American society while they earn money). Whereas previous generations of immigrants came here hoping to integrate into our culture and society and truly become Americans like every other wave of immigrants had done, a large segment of immigrants (especially those that have come illegally) that now come to the US are simply here to save up as much money for themselves and extract as much cash as possible from our nation by sending it to their relatives and family members in the places they left but still consider "home." For these people who have come to the United States, they will never consider America home despite all it offers in the way of economic opportunity, personal liberty, etc. and steadfastly hang on to their "heritage;" with the help of all our modern technology, there is no incentive to join American culture/society when it is just as quick and easy to call or fax or overnight, etc. anywhere that someone considers "home" as it is to do so in any nation that someone may currently be residing. Whereas immigrants used to desire to call America home for all it offered and become Americans, many immigrants now see the US more as that dumpy apartment they temporarily rent while earning/saving enough money to get themselves on their feet economically before returning home to their native country.

That's what I want to know. I wish these idiots knew how stupid they make themselves look when they do that. The people who are illegal in the first place shouldn't even be here. They are talking crap about the best country on earth and yet, they won't leave unless they are forced to do so. How smart is that? They disrespect America and everything about her but they are killing their fool selves to get over here, dying like flies in the desert. How smart is that?
