When my husband turned 40, I bought him a brand new MG ZR,but I think it's a bit late to start saving for that unless you are willing to take out a loan. You might think that was a bit generous but I'm thinking ahead, he's 6 years older than me so he has 6 years to save for my Mazda MX5. Tee hee.

A bouncy castle!

We hired one for my uncle's 40th, and we had the whole family round for a BBQ - it was great fun! Someone decided to put water on it and turn it into a slide though - fun but made a mess of my parents garden!

I will joke and say, find a young woman for him. Normally at this age he will begin to go through "Mid-life Crisis". Try something to help him feel young again. You may try a special picnic somewhere secluded and remember the back seat days. ;-)

Go for another honeymoon without asking him to pay. Dress sexy, be romantic, prepare him a special meal or cake. Make him feel young again. Have a great time and enjoy yourselves!

A threesome... not only as a gift but to insure your togetherness. Every 40 year old guy wants this and if he does not get it he will surely go into midlife crisis.
