It was not Vatican.
The churches were separates after the 800AD.
on the 5th Century while emperor in Byzantium was Iustinianus and his wife Theodora, there was an Ecumenical Synod.
The 5th Ecunenical Synod which for many is called Pseudosynod.
(out of 3000Bishops, only 300 were present) During this Synod were changed many lines. One of the most important was and the lines which were refering to reincarnation.
Everything was done for the "Churche's Goodness" and of course it couldn't be in Pope's interest to reveal such a scam.
It is not only these....
Just the fact, that LUKE was not contemporary of Jesus the acceptance of his Gospel as "kanonikon", arises questions.

I never heard that one before. Do you have any evidence for where you got that idea? I would like to read more about this is you have a website or book reference.
Here is what the Bible states:
Hebrews 9:27 27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
When comparing the hebrew or greek copies there are very little translational issues between all the 24,000 copies of the New Testament. There are enough copyist mistakes that you could fill a half a page out of the 1044 pages of the Bible. That is how close we are between the New Testament manuscripts.
If you are refering to the Gnostic "Gospels", the early church did not recognize them because they were at best compiled around 200 AD and at worst 300 - 400 AD. These were not the Gospels as in the "Good News" and were not included in the cannon because they were not used by the early church meaning the days of the aposles (33 AD - 100 AD).
If you look at the bible as a whole, not one verse contradics each other. It is an integrated message. The Gnostic "Gospels" teach a whole different Jesus than the New Testament and can not be looked at as being left out of the Bible because it contradics what the Bible says.

I don't think it's any secret that the early church tucked away and hid books or gospels that didn't suit their view of things - especially anything involving women in roles of leadership, views that contradicted Mary as the eternal and Blessed Virgin, tales of Christ that didn't fit their 'perfect' ideals, or Gospels/books from lesser diciples the church thought of as insignificant.
In the early days after the death of Christ there were numerous Gospels that different groups read from. It was once the church became better established did the Vatican decide what books to keep and which to sprite away and hide. The balance between the fledgling church, Rome, and other regions of the period was at constant risk. It is quite possible that many of the decisions as to which books to use or not use helped to solidify the Church's relationship with Rome and hence establish a level of acceptance to some degree.
.......Here is an interesting tidbit I heard watching a program on the Discovery Times Channel. I do not recall the program title. Sorry............
The library at the Vatican is extremely strict on who can access what if at all. You must place your request in advance and hope it is approved for you to see it. Then the requested document or book is brought to you. You cannot wear a coat/jacket and you pay not posess anything more than some paper and a pen. While you study your requested document/book, a gaurd stands over you and watches your every move. You may not take anything out of the library except the notes that you made. Now mind you, not just any Joe Schmoe can come along and request documents from there either.
It's a shame The Vatican feels the need to keep so much hidden and locked away. It makes you wonder just what they are hiding and what are they afraid of?

Yes, I certainly belielve that this instution, while polished in prim and all holly on the visable outside but underneath the lacker is pure greed and couruption to the core. Yes, they removed certain things from being published in the bible, to help control the people, manipulate them if you will. Many of their books in the Vatican Library of off Limits to many of their own staff, you have to have a Vatican Clearance or something to look at some of the books, not cuz they are old and fragile, but because what they have inside. Look at the lost testaments of Mary of Magdalen, and Thomas found in the desert in clay pots, the Chruch was out to destroy them so they were hidden, and even today they say the testimates have no integritey. Yep, Yep Yep, the vatican is responsible tor only putting certain things in the bible, you are right on the money.

the vatican has always been like the christian mafia and the pope is the Godfather.it tells in revelations about the false prophets and the evil in the churches, and how they will be spewed from his mouth for all thier misdeeds.in the beginning of christianity the catholics marched in and killed poor pagens for not converting,ect..but we wont go into all that now.we will start with this.would a God who loves you and created you cast you forever into a lake of fire for not obeying?that would be like a father burning his kids hands on the stove for bringing home a b on his report card.fear is control, fear keeps the collection plates full.why would God want 10% of your earnings?hes God,he can make whatever he wants,he dont shop, dont you think he would rather see you share 10% with someone less fortunate?it says in the bible.go into the closet and confess your sins before God.it doesnt say go and confess your sins before a priest.who is a priest to enforce pennence or grant absoultion?it is Gods forgiveness you seek, not the priests.the church most certainly have altered parts of the bible, just as when the lost writings of jesus were found and hid in the vatican.in jesus own words he said the real church is inside you.just think if that were made common knowledge what it would do to the church?thier free ride would be over.Keep God always in your heart, worship him always in the privacy of your own home or wherever you are.im sure the bible was changed so live a life that would make him proud.and im sure he will let you live many lifetimes.why would he continualy make new souls when he has so many in heaven that would love to come back to learn more.im sure for the truly evil he has a place for them, but for the rest of us thier is no hell, only different levels of rewards.have a great day.

It seems that the Vatican is afraid that people will start "thinking" about the faith and their role in the church. I believe they put only what they wanted to put in the Bible. The Bible is chock full of contradictions... and there are many important aspects that seem to be missing.

No they just ignore the parts they dont like.
And reincarnation, would be out of harmony with the rest of the scriptures. concusion; it was never in the bible.
Jehovah created the universe, made man from dust, made woman from adams rib and you don't believe he could protect his word the bible from being corupted.
everything we need to know is in the bible, that whole man changed it, we dont know, garbage is a feeble attempt at an excuse to ignore it.

Why oh why do you think they call it holy. Vatican tore out any part that they did not agree with many millenia ago. Just got caught when a "priest" smuggled out some cut out chapters.
