Babylon was Iran/Iraq
This may again be Babylon the Great spoken of!
There is still time for it to come to pass.
Iran and Iraq have a lot of oil, and prices will rise!
There is a lot of building going on over there

Babylon the great is the world empire of false religion. It's not just one church it's a empire of false churches or religions. so be careful that your church is not misleading you. I know of a certain religion that allows things that God says he hates! Another goes around knocking on doors claiming to know a date when Jesus is coming.

Personally, I believe it is the conglomeration of all false religions that are prostituting themselves to the governments of the Earth. And by false religions, I mean generally speaking: Like, for example, an organization that demands religious-like devotion to a movement, and that forbids members examining both sides of any issues. Or any secular organization that demands religious-like devotion from its members. I don't know what else might qualify to fit into this age-old conundrum?

At the time the Book of Revelations was written I would imagine it was the Roman Empire.

Of all the books of the bible, of all the teachings of weird cults, none surpass the Book of Revelations in absolutely useless knowledge. As far as I am concerned, it doesn't exist. I suggest the same for you.

i think the concept of religion... in it's entirety... is babylon the great.
i think this because all religions are fundimentally lacking in the one thing they all proport to help... spirituality. it is the people who are spiritual as opposed to religious, who will survive.... only because they will be able to see what is happening. their eyes will not be clouded by miss information and doctrine. they will hear the warnings when they arrive.
good luck!
