Well, I wish to prove that exams are afterall not as vad as students think they are. theyre important for ones overall development. I want yallz views on examinations.....

I would say, yeah, exams are important...but to a degree. There are some things that exams cannot prove or show, such a personality, feelings, emotions. So many people take exams into account so seriously that everything else is disregarded. And their are some people out there who just can't take exams...because of the pressure and stress, they don't remember the things that they normally do. And so my opinion is that exams are to an extent important, but they cannot be used to assess every aspect of our lives and are not 100% valid at most times, if not at all times.

Exams are the testing ground of knowledge under controlled conditions. It is important to have knowledge and wisdom which is the first level of competence. The next level is to apply that knowledge when needed which is what the exams are meant to do. You are expected to perform on a certain day within a specified time limit. The next level is to be able to teach others what you know. So exams are important.

course they are! u can get into college and u gotta try hard to achieve the best u can possiblew coz then u'll knw hw good u are.u'll be surprised, a lil effort can take u a long way. believe me!
