Jesus stated that only a "little flock" of Christians are awarded heavenly life. That "little flock" is the 144,000 faithful Christians who are chosen to be co-rulers in God's Kingdom and the Bible states that they will be kings, priests and judges who will rule over the earth. God has promised us that a "great crowd" of Christians will be given eternal life here on earth.
My hope is to live forever on earth along with millions of other meek ones who survive Armegeddon along with those who have died but are resurrected back to life.
Psalms 37:9-11 will soon be fulfilled---"For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace."

The word 'rapture' is not mentioned in the Bible.
The 144,000 are faithful men and women who have been gathered from the earth to reign in heaven with Christ Jesus as associate kings and priests over the earth.
This in-gathering started at Pentecost 33CE in the upper room where 120 faithful disciples were anointed with holy spirit. This in-gathering has continued down until our day when the number will finally be sealed.
The remainder of obedient mankind that survives Armageddon and all those resurrected will have the opportunity to live forever on a paradise earth.

I have never seen the word rapture in the Bible. You know why?
Because it's not written in the Word. You should quote scripture if you have a legit question. I read where it talked about the Levitical priests re: 144,000

The Bible does not say that in the end days only 144,000 people will be raptured. It says there will be 144,000 Messianic Jewish converts who believe and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ in end times. The Bible states that when Jesus returns, in end times, He will rapture His people (all those who are living and dead who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour). There is no specific number mentioned about the number who will be raptured.

Don't worry.....in the beginning of the bible the "ONE" day is translated for some million years. So, for each one that it mentioned there (144000) if not millions, even thousands, if it is translated.... we'll go all of us. We are gonna have and spare sits , so, we can lay down and have a sleep during the flight.:) as we do in overseas flights:)

There is no "rapture" mentioned in the bible.

It's just the product of another human mind and a misled christian sect.

I think this refers to 144,000 refers to the tribes of Israel, as refers to a guaranteed minimum, as far as I can conjecture. As regards the Gentiles i.e. Christians there is no limit set to those who will be saved, as long as they want to be saved.

That's bullsh**. If god wants all people to be "saved", it wouldn't only take 144,000 people at the rapture.
