Well, from the standards now, 5'7" is probably on the shorter end.

I don't think so. It's not to tall and not to short so in other words it's the perfect height. I, being a woman am 5'7" and I always considered myself just a little to tall for a female.

not TOO short. Im a girl who is 5'6 but i mean, i like guys who are about my height or an inch or two taller. but REALLY tall guys bug me.
so i dont really think anyone cares too much about height..

Depends on a persons perspective. To a 5,4 person that would be tall, to a 6,1 person that would be short.
