Ok...this can be confusing. The NTSB can designate what they feel is considered a "truck", "van", "suv" or "station wagon" depending solely on design, weight, safety, and drive ability. Also, it is important for you to know that some states will title your vehicle as they see fit. I had a 1992 Chevy S-10 Blazer. This is typically considered an SUV. My title showed it as a station wagon because Pennsylvania considers it a "station wagon". So, watch what the title says about your vehicle.

Some can carry heavier weight. Gross weight. Some of them have heavier 3/4 or 1 ton rear axles for a truck some have just like a car. Some have 3/4 ton or 1 ton rated heavier springs, some light springs. Heavy has eight lug nuts, light has 6.
