Be it to another city or country, will you move? If the taxpayers move, who is going to pay for illegals' benefits?

I don't want to live in 'poquito Mexico', and I feel that our states as well as Congress have had a really poor showing on the issue.
'Feel-good' isn't going to fix this one, the border fence needs to be finished, and the ICE needs to start shutting down businesses that hire them, and take care of it. Main thing though is to get the border closed and work from there. I think it's time to stop playing and do what is needed. But hey, I'm just a voter...if they've got enough corporations yammering at em that they want illegal alien workers and immigration laws be damned, well that's going to end up being the 'majority' vote, there....the major problem is that Congress stopped listening to the majority a long time ago, were they so brazen as to put the issue of immigration regulation to a popular vote, I do believe that there'd be overwhelming support for much better border controls. Instead, we're reading about things like illegal aliens signing mortgage papers, stuff like that.

I'm thinking of moving out of LA, depending on the elections. I'll take the fight with me, but my kids can't wait forever. They are in school NOW.

The San Fernando Valley already tried to split off of the City, and even offered money to be able to do it, but it was voted down by people outside of the valley.

This has happened in other large cities, and it is a death knell for the schools because they lose their tax base, and the people paying become only those no longer interested in what happens to public schools.

DonDon - the difference is that I belong here. I didn't illegally sneak in or overstay to make others pay for me and my children. My grandparents were raised in LA. My Grandmother was in one of UCLA's first graduating classes. They shouldn't come. It isn't we who should have to leave.

No matter where you move to you will be supporting illegals' benefits. They are federal benefits. Meaning the whole country. The only options that you have is to move to another country where you are the illegal getting the benefits. (ha-ha-ha). Seriously, we need to come together as a country and let our congressmen/women know that we will not support them any longer if they continue to pass housing, medical, food stamps and any other government aide to illegals.

My parents moved us to Arkansas in 85 because of the invasion and the lifestyle it created in California. I wouldn't go back. If this onslaught of illegals continues here I will possibly go to West Virginia. Really you can't get away from them because they leach every prosperous area in the USA until they turn it into a dump.

Are illegals really that big of a problem? What are illegals doing that would cause you to leave? I say stay and let the illegals stay. Who cares.

Maybe we should all move to mexico and force them to learn English to accommodate us. Sneak in, take jobs, fill their streets with people and garbage, take up all the housing and cry to their government for free stuff.

I highly doubt Americans will move. We have too much pride to go elsewhere...

I myself, am not going anywhere. I'm standing my ground and fighting to the death!
