Lemon juice is a great thing to put on your hair and leave it in for a while before washing out.
The problem with many hair products is that they react with the bodily smells, like your head sweating. I suggest after you'd tried the lemon juice that you change your shampoo and condition and try different hair sprays.

Ask a trusted friend if he or she every smells a strange odor on your hair. If the answer is no, either ask them what about now or ask them to take a sniff now and tell you what it smells like.
If you really do have an odor, rinse your hair and scalp with white vinegar twice a weak for the nest month. It is a little rough on the cuticle, but it is a good stripper of what may be hanging on your hair. Increase your water intake by another 5-6 glasses extra per day for the same time period and check to see if there is something in your diet causing the odor to seep out through your hair folicles. If all else fails, see a stylist and share your concern. Good luck.

You have some good suggestions here, maybe take a bit from them all,Shampooing 2 times a day sometimes dries out the hair, maybe get a really good product and shampoo less,I know that sounds strange but changing your shampoo can really help, and I like the idea of going to a salon for pro help, good luck.

Look into purchasing a leave-in conditioner that has some fragrance in it. Avoid shampoos and conditioners that give you a fruity smell. Try Charles Worthington products as the smell is more on the perfume side.

Hmm, that's odd because you already wash your hair twice a day. I suggest maybe using different shampoos and see if that works or go see a doctor about it...sorry...that didn't really help much. Best of luck!

do you have dandruff? if so it can give you that horrible smell that you are smelling or if not you could have an odor that just comes out from the skin on your head. You need to call your doctor or derm. As a hairstylist we cant help you from that smell your doctor will give you a perscription for something.

First of all, it isn't good to wash your hair everyday, wash it ever other day. Try herbal essences. All of their products smell really good, so maybe they would help? Give it a try.

I think the smell is in your head not on your hair. Ask your family physician if you are that concerned.
