It will bring you Confidence. And confidence can bring you all of the things you speak of. Read the Purpose Driven Life. You are not a mistake, and God made you for a reason. You may never know that reason while on earth. Your confidence may bring you to a place where you help someone that needed you at that time. Perhaps to only be an example of what believing you are Worthwhile, someone else may learn that from you.
God Bless, and Know you ARE worthwhile.

I am learning this at the moment too! You are worthwhile because God loves you unconditionally, and Jesus died for you. I am now accepting that God loves me completely, even the bits I hide from other people. (I found it very hard to trust him and accept this before.) I have found a deeper peace than I ever knew existed. Now I am learning to accept this (and to be loved is a very hard thing to accept), my self confidence has increased. I no longer feel bound by fear to be who I am. I now know that whatever other people think of me doesn't matter, I am free to be the real me, the beautiful person God really sees and I can let her shine. I don't have to try and people please anymore and pretend to be something I'm not! It may not bring a new job or a new home, but I have been overwhelmed with peace and joy and the love of God. For somebody who spent so long hiding myself incase I was rejected, this is more beautiful than I have ever imagined. I certainly never expected it! It was all a bit of surprise to me (ha ha!). I certainly would never have had the confidence to write all this on a public forum before! I still feel afraid, but I also feel trust, and I am willing to fight the fear now.

The need to feel worthwile is very powerfull, I work hard in my life to try and meet this need through doing things for others. When I have no purpose and no one needs me I feel worthles and not worrthwile at all. I would like to feel worthwile in my own right regardless of my actions and others feelings towards me however I have never been able to achieve this. try to aim for thinking that you are ok and as worthwhile as anyone else is in this world this is a more easily achievable goal as how could we ever really know if we are worthwhile ultimately.

I love your question this morning! I am worthwhile but I let others around me tear me down and make me feel like I am not worthwhile. I want to live my life in dignity and respect but for so long it has been anything but. I am having alot of anger issues this morning. I think I am really angry with myself because I keep doing the same thing over and over, but expecting a different result. This is what I know to be insanity but I don't seem to be able to step out of it with certain people in my life. So I am going to repeat your mantra today" I am worthwhile!". Thank you for reminding me- peace.

It gives you the strength and determination to stand up for who you are, who you would like to be, and how you will get there. Its not a guarantee for lucky breaks but at least it has you out there trying. People who don't feel worthwhile most times can't get themselves out of bed in the morning.

Everyone is worthwhile , It sounds by your question that you are seeking instantaneous results from a someone who deals in the superficial , instead of the real world which is not at all negative . Of course your worthwhile ,. think positive , and check all your thoughts if there negative , disregard them

Being worthwhile will, at the very least, bring people like me to the Yahoo! Answers page to answer questions you post for the trivial reward of two points. Thank you for being worthwhile.

This statement is the measure of self-esteem. Self-esteem is important because negative self-talks plunge individuals into despair.
But in recent decades, building self-esteem has became a business empire. Motivational talks, books sell like hot cakes. And there are people trying to link lacking self-esteem to every human predicament.
"If you believe you can, you can!" is a typical sweep-it-all statement.
I think it is important to be both critical and honest. Human beings have great potentials (we are created after image of God, after all) as well as limitations ( we are no God).

Believing in yourself is a very powerful thing which lots don't, I believe that if you can feel this strong about yourself then yes i believe it will bring you at least some of the things you have said.
If you can have this faith in yourself then you are very lucky and i wish you good luck.
