Trees reproduce in the way that is right for them. They are not capable of hunting out a female, walking over to her, telling her cheesy pick up lines, and then having sex with her.

Trees do reproduce sexually. In most species, one tree produces the male gamete (pollen) and another produces the female gamete (seed).

If you really mean the physical act of mating, well trees can't move!

Actually trees and plants do have "male" and "female". Pollen is the equivalent of sperm, which gets deposited in the female flowers.

Um...didn't you go to school?

Plants DO resproduce sexually; sometimes the plant has both male and female parts; sometimes only one, and the gametes are borne by the wind.

Do try to pay closer attention in the future at school, hmm?

reproduction happens trees too. In fact, it happens in anything that doesn't reproduce asexually.

The word "sex" is commonly misused when talking about reproduction.
