I'm greatful for waking, for being healthy, for knowing that I can make a difference if other people lives simply by being me and speaking with others. We all have regrets, I know I have many, but we cannot let regret consume us since it solves nothing. Look around you and know that the people you surround yourself with care for you and love you. Spend time with the less fortunate. Ask them what they are greatful for, their answers may just surprise you. Above all, dream. Dream for a time when what you want to see will become reality, because it can. All you need to do is take one step forward towards your goals and you can do anything. I'm most greatful that I can do this, that if I set my mind to do something I can accomplish it, no matter how hard it may seem. It's what drives me everyday, and what drove me to my current career. If I can do it, so can you.

I have learned to tell God what I am angry and resentful about. I also share these feelings with other trusted friends. This for me is confession. Resentment, fear, anger and all the negative emotions are sin to me. I ask God to forgive me and change me. But I first confess what I am feeling and why. God understands, as do my friends. But as I feel that others and even God understand and still love me, I can begin to leave these things behind and live a life motivated by love and not hate and fear. It is part of life's journey and we are all at different "mile markers."
I am grateful that God has shown me the way out of the bitterness and resentment and fear in my own soul and He continues to lead me to health and wholeness which is another word for holiness.
Love and Peace,
Cathy

I also have lots of anger and resentments, but I'm grateful for being who I am and for everything I have because everyone is different. I personally believe in karma, and maybe I'm living the way I am because of what I did before. I'm grateful for having a family who loves and cares for me and for experiencing so many painful and happy moments.

I'm grateful that I'm alive and healthy and that I woke up this morning knowing that I have the precious promises of Christ Jesus to look forward to after I have done every good deed that God has prepared in advance for me to do and my faith has been tried and refined so that it might give glory to God when Christ comes again, amen!
James 1:2 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. 4 But let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.
"But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain that neither can we carry anything out! But having food and clothing, with these things we shall be content. But those desiring to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and many senseless and harmful lusts which sink men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all evils, of which some by aspiring have strayed away from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. You however, O man of God, flee these things. But pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold of eternal life, to which you were called and have confessed the good confession before many witnesses. 1 Timothy 6:6-12
"Therefore also we have as our ambition, whether being at home, or being away from home, to be well pleasing to Him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, in accordance with the things which he did, whether good or bad. 2 Corinthians 5:9-10
"His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.' Matthew 25:21

If you don't let go of your resentments, you will become bitter. Better to pray and let them go. I am grateful that I found someone to love. After my first disaster/marriage, I didn't think I ever would!

i'm grateful that i can read and respond to your message...it tells me that i have a place to sit, the financial means to have bought a computer and pay for the electricity that powers it, enough smarts to hook it up and connect to the internet, eyesight to be able to see the screen, teachers who have taught me to read and write so that i can respond to your question, that i am healthy enough to be able to type, that i live in a country where i have the freedom to respond freely...so many others don't have any of these things...i am truly blessed...

whenever you start to get angry, try to imagine someone who has it worse. this will stop the anger AND make you more grateful for what you do have.
