What does it mean when you turn on a digital camera and screen reads: CARD NOT INITIALIZED?

It is having problems reading your memory card. remove it and reinsert it. If that dosen't work then remove it again and look at your card, some of them have locks on them. Make sure yours is unlocked.

could it be that the card was not inserted properly? or that the camera does not recognize the card. in any case, consult your manual n hope to see some solution.
