,especially of those I love. I guess, what I'm afraid of is the pain and sorrow, and the unknown after life. Also, I can't fathom the fact that you'll never, ever see that person again - they're gone, they've vanished! I try hard not to think about this stuff, but it really haunts me..

Fear of death is a natural, instinctive survival mechanism. You should fear stepping in front of a speeding bus; that helps keep you alive. But you shouldn't fear the fact that, one day, your body will deteriorate and cease to function. That's part of nature. All things must die so that other things can be born. The best you can do is live your life to your satisfaction and try to leave the world a little better than you found it. Above all, don't live in fear of what cannot hurt you.

First you must understand there is no such thing as dying. Jesus overcame death when he came out of the tomb. Death has always been a spiritual thing that means seperate from God. You can be walking around dead if you are not in God. The flesh is kinda on automatic pilot or no pilot is a better term. When the flesh dyes, god says you return to Him. "To be absent from the flesh is to be home with the Father". So if God is in your heart when some loved one passes from this level, and they go to God, then where are they? That's right, they are in your heart and actually closer to you physically then when they were in their fleshy body. They will go where you go and do what you do, because God is in you, He is in them and they are in you. Quite a mystery huh?
It is all good bdyond this level because this is the only place where darkness has any power. God has allowed satan to flex his muscles here on Earth and they God uses that to chase His children back to Himself. God uses satans darkness as a tool to get us to our knees, isn't that cool? God is all knowing and He knows how much it will take to get you to surrender. He allows it so you will make the choice our of your own free will. Once you have reunited with God is the beginning of your eterninty. If you hook yourself to God now and refuse top let go, you will go where He goes. He is the Alpha and the Omega, that means beginning and end. If it was all to end this moment, then amoment from now, it would all begin again forever. There is nothing to fear at all because graduating from this level is nothing more then that. It is moving on to bigger and better things in this journey that will last forever. The creator is creative and He made this existance and the way we preceive it from nothing but thought. The Spirit of Christ is the creative aspect of God and NEVER will quit creating. You will experience it all as you travel through eternity.

You need to be able to get your mind off of what it would feel like...I always feared death...but then I put my mind off of it and why should I fear?? It's only going to hurt for a bit and then...the end!! Just keep telling yourself, "I'm not scared of dying, because I know Jesus is there to help me!!"...death can only hurt and that would be all!!

Keep Smiling!!

the way i overcame it was to find out facts ( yes facts ) about the afterlife
but this worked for me personally and may not be what you need or what makes sense for you
but i am a spiritualist medium and have found wonderful facts and proof of the after life
i understand that some people may have different beliefs on this but if i can help in any way possible with any questions about the after life , then i will do my best to answer for you if you ever wish to get in touch
but i find that knowledge takes away fear ... so gain some knowledge on the after life and death ... and make life worth living again xxx

Live your life purposefully, Live for your God as he will give you eternal life, of coz only if while on earth you have served your purpose.

So therefore when you realise your purpose in life(Please check out the "Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren. You will not fear to live as you'll be living your life but preparing for eternity. Nothing is more fulfiling, than knowing even if you die today this 2nd you will still live eternaly.

Have Faith and Believe.

Fear of the unknown is human nature. As a born again Christian and studying the word of God for many years I no longer fear what I used to call death, for it is only the body that dies. The loss of a loved one is never easy, and trying to understand Gods decisions is often hard. Every one has the choice of eternal life, or damnation. My parents were not Christians and that hurt me more than any one knows. Thanks to a beautiful redeeming God I know longer fear anything what so ever.

Giving your soul to God and your heart to Jesus you will no longer have to deal with fear.

There is life after death. The Bible speaks of this. Jesus talks about this in his story of the rich man and Lazarus. It is appointed for man to die and then judgment. So we will go to Heaven or Hell.
The way to have peace is accept Jesus so you know where you are going and hopefully your friends and relatives will do the same. Then we'll all be there!

I am losing my fear of death. As my faith in God and His Son Jesus and the sweet Holy Spirit of God grows in me I am beginning to understand that this life is only the infancy of eternity. And I am His. I am safe. "Whether I live or die, I am the Lords." Saying it or reading it never helped me. It is believing it with all my heart that has given me security.
